now dont get any ideas... *wink*
i'm sure it is wonderful for opening packages, does it need to be sharpened after a christmas day's worth of box-opening?
On the other foot though, no it works great, 1095 is one of those FANTASTIC steels, just holds a great edge. Made it awhile ago now, and it hasn't needed a sharpening yet, and it never had a too good edge to begin with either hehe.
the idea itself is not mine, actually taken from a fantastic series by robin hobb, the assassin trilogy...interesting idea, however i would never wish it to be done to anybody....umm...sorry for suggesting it really
