Matched set of swords one blunt one sharp for use and practice. Stats:

Sharp:
Overall - 35 3/8"
Blade - 23 1/2"
Hilt - 11 7/8"
Handle - 9 1/2"
Guard is 9" wide
Blade is 3/16ths thick and 1 7/16" wide
Weight is 2.4 pounds
POB - is 1/2 in front of the guard, 1 inch from the front of the handle.

Stats for the blunt:
Overall - 35 1/2"
Blade - 23 3/4"
Hilt - 11 13/16"
Handle - 9 1/2"
Guard is 9" wide also
Blade is 3/16ths thick and 1 7/16" wide
Weight is 2.9 pounds
POB is 1/2" in front of the guard 1" from the front of the handle also.

Handles are black parachord over hickory slabs, hilt parts are mild steel with a brass washer, blade is 1077.

I prefer swords that are more forged than ground, but they look sturdy. Hope they serve you well. :)

Too bad i don't know the English steel specifications.

No difference when all said and done really, unless you are talking damascus but yeah I like em forged a bit too.

If the heat treatment is done well there really is no big difference between ground or forged swords. Albion swords are a good example, they never "see" a hammer during production and are of great quality.

Wow, what did you use for the hollow grinding? At least it LOOKS hollow ground from here.

They are flat ground on a platen on my KMG, they always look hollow ground not sure why.....
